Trafrask School, Adrigole, open a new wing of the school, dedicated to the late Garda Aidan Cremin.
Aidan was who worked tirelessly in the Adrigole community and in the wider Gaa community in Beara. He had been a member of the Board of management and had worked alongside the rest of the board to secure funding but unfortunately never saw the fruits of his work. No doubt he is looking down on the children of Adrigole with pride!
The official opening was done by Fr. Martin Sheehan with a little help from the two youngest members of the school Jamie Lynch and Fionn O Donoghue
A new playground was also opened last September much to the joy of the children returning back to school.
