Photographs from a recent trip "over seas" to Bere Island, Beara, West Cork, where the community are striving to be carbon neutral by 2030.
Members of the The Bere Island Sustainable Energy Community (SEC), with the support of Bere Island Projects Group, hosted a visit to the island last week of Soren Hermansen and Alexis Chatzimpiros from the Samso Energy Academy in Denmark.

The group paid a visit to Scoil Mhichill Naofa where students had an impressive knowledge of sustainable energy. Some of the children had made windmills earlier in the week and were very engaged asking questions.
Well done to their teachers for all their hard work educating the children.
