This morning Liam Hanley retired as a paramedic from the ambulance in Castletownbere, where he has worked for over 44 years. I’m sure there isn’t a house or a family that Liam hasn’t helped over the years. I would like to take this opportunity to offer him the best of luck on the new chapter of his life. Thank you, for all the years of service and good luck Liam!!! Family, work colleagues, doctors, nursing staff past and present both form the hospital and ambulance service gathered at the base to wish him a happy retirement.
We are so lucky here in Beara to have an ambulance base, hospital and a fantastic staff manning both we are all very grateful for the services of both!! Thank you to all for your help, kindness when we need it most!!
