The official opening took place on Friday. It is the second part of an exchange project between Germanand Irish artists initiated by Kunstlervereinigung FFB e.V, Sarah Walker Gallery and Cill Rialaig Arts Project.
The German Ambassador David Gill and Cork County Mayor Cllr. Bernard Moynihan and Deputy Mayor Cllr. Finbarr Harrington attended the official opening.
A presentation was made by Johnny Power, who runs the local company who produces of Beara Gin see their website here: thebearadistillery.

A large crowd attended and a lovely evening was had by all.
With the tide high the only way in was by boat which added to the beautiful evening
The exhibition continues until September 27th at the Sarah Walker Gallery on the pier Castletownbere so why not call into have a look around at the beautiful art
